Job Summary

Providing comprehensive legal counsel, the full-time salaried Illinois Licensed Senior Counsel will manage commercial contracting, oversee intellectual property matters, and drive corporate processes while working both in-office in Chicago and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage day-to-day commercial activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements
• Direct and oversee intellectual property matters, ensuring protection and enforcement of company IP rights
• Drive and administer corporate processes, leading process improvement initiatives and training internal teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in a corporate or law firm setting, with a focus on commercial transactions
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois with a J.D. from an accredited law school and a Bachelor's degree
• Experience drafting transactional documents, particularly in commercial and licensing agreements
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and work autonomously
• Familiarity with business and legal technology tools, such as Salesforce
