Illinois Licensed Senior Counsel
Job Summary
Serving as a senior legal advisor, the full-time Illinois Licensed Senior Counsel in AI & Legal Technology will manage compliance and legal matters related to AI, product development, and legal technology, while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the lead legal representative for enterprise AI, product development, and marketing initiatives, shaping company strategy
- Provide strategic legal advice and business counsel on commercial, operational, and legal issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to enhance processes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- Six or more years of relevant experience in-house or at a law firm, particularly in technology law and AI-related issues
- Deep knowledge of the AI regulatory landscape, including emerging U.S. and international frameworks
- Experience with software development, licensing issues, and familiarity with technology transactions
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with legal technology tools, Microsoft O365, and Salesforce
