Illinois Licensed Senior I&C Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an Illinois Licensed Senior I&C Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing instrumentation and control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, providing programming and integration services, and troubleshooting control issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide instrumentation and control system design services for water and wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations
- Perform programming and integration services for SCADA systems and conduct troubleshooting for control issues
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost opinions for design projects while conducting client training sessions as needed
Required qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree in Controls Theory is a plus
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering consulting, preferably in water and wastewater
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation for flow, temperature, pressure, and analytical instruments
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming for various platforms, including Rockwell and Siemens
