Illinois Licensed Senior Power Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Distribution Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex designs for overhead and underground power installations
• Coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical distribution design
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (focus in power preferred)
• Strong knowledge of utility industry codes and standards
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage time and resources efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Asset Suite is a plus
