Illinois Licensed Senior Trial Attorney

Job Summary

Championing the defense for both the insured and the Company, the fully remote Illinois Licensed Senior Trial Attorney will handle bodily injury and liability-focused insurance defense litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations, while providing strategic counsel to claims partners and business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Represent insured individuals and the Company in defense of bodily injury and third-party liability matters, including complex cases
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Prepare and present pleadings, motions, and submissions related to liability defense matters

Required qualifications

• Active Illinois law license
• Significant experience in insurance defense litigation, particularly in bodily injury and liability cases
• Proven track record of managing complex litigation and trial experience
• Strong understanding of liability laws and litigation trends
• Ability to provide strategic legal counsel to clients and internal partners
