Job Summary

To support a dynamic legal team, the full-time Illinois Licensed Senior Trial Attorney will manage defense litigation for bodily injury and liability matters, including trials and mediations, while working remotely from Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent insured individuals and the Company in bodily injury and third-party liability defense matters
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials
• Provide strategic legal counsel to claims partners and business stakeholders regarding litigation strategy and risk

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) with active membership in good standing with the Illinois State Bar
• 4+ years of litigation experience, particularly in bodily injury or insurance defense matters
• First or second chair jury trial experience in bodily injury cases is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic filing systems
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload in a fast-paced litigation environment
