Job Summary
To support students with communication disorders, the full-time Illinois Licensed Speech Pathologist will provide virtual therapy sessions, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with educators while maintaining accurate documentation of student progress.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress, following confidentiality policies
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and communicate with parents regarding therapy sessions and strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or a related field
- Completion of an approved SLP training program
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting is highly desirable
- Current CPR/BLS certification may be required
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy techniques and a willingness to learn new strategies
