Job Summary

To support students with communication disorders, the full-time Illinois Licensed Speech Pathologist will provide virtual therapy sessions, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with educators while maintaining accurate documentation of student progress.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress, following confidentiality policies
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and communicate with parents regarding therapy sessions and strategies
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or a related field
  • Completion of an approved SLP training program
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting is highly desirable
  • Current CPR/BLS certification may be required
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapy techniques and a willingness to learn new strategies
