Job Summary

To support K-12 students with communication disorders, the full-time Illinois Licensed Speech Pathologist will deliver direct therapy, maintain documentation, and collaborate with educational staff in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups, implementing approved treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with confidentiality policies
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and communicate with parents regarding therapy sessions and student progress
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or a related field
  • Completion of an approved SLP training program and a valid IL SLP license
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting is highly desirable
  • Current CPR/BLS certification may be required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
