Job Summary
To support students with communication disorders, the full-time Illinois Licensed Speech Pathologist will deliver direct therapy, maintain documentation, and collaborate with educators in a hybrid work setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to individual students and small groups, implementing treatment plans and intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress, preparing necessary materials and reports for evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers, communicating with parents about therapy sessions and student progress
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Studies, or a related field
- Completion of an approved SLP training program and a valid IL SLP license
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or therapeutic setting is highly desirable
- Current CPR/BLS certification may be required
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills for record-keeping and documentation
