Illinois Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (Remote in the Midwest).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely classification of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions
• Perform timely downloads and reconciliations of various bank, credit card, and loan accounts
• Initial preparation and review of financial statements and cash forecasts, including sales tax returns and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA certification preferred or on track to obtain
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a staff accountant role
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
• Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is required
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a remote environment
