Illinois Licensed Teleneurologist

Job Summary

To support the Illinois Neurological Institute, an Illinois Licensed Teleneurologist will provide remote care, working full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, while utilizing EPIC EMR for patient management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver virtual neurology consultations and patient care remotely
• Maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges as required
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans for patients in compliance with federal and state regulations

Required qualifications

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
• Board certified or board eligible in neurology
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration to prescribe narcotics
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
• Meets qualifications for professional malpractice and liability coverage participation
