Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registered Nurse - TeleNurse (8 Hours/week) Every Other Weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patient calls using the Nursing Process for assessment and evaluation
• Identify emergencies and recommend appropriate interventions, including directing patients to the correct level of care
• Document calls and maintain statistical data while providing patient education and counseling

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Illinois RN licensure from an accredited nursing school
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting
• Experience in Emergency Room or Home Health preferred
• Basic typing skills at 40 wpm or greater
• Ability to work every other weekend and reside within a 100-mile radius of Springfield, IL
