Job Summary

To support patient care, the part-time Illinois Licensed TeleNurse will triage incoming patient calls, promote wellness, and serve as a patient advocate while working remotely on weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during phone triage
• Communicate effectively with patients to provide advice and determine appropriate levels of care
• Document all significant health history and maintain statistical data as required

Required qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting
• Experience in emergency room or home health settings preferred
• Basic typing skills at 40 wpm or greater and intermediate computer skills
• Ability to work every other weekend and 4-5 recognized holidays per year
