Job Summary

To support patient care, the part-time Illinois Licensed TeleNurse will triage incoming patient calls, provide medical advice, and maintain accurate documentation while working remotely on a flexible schedule that includes weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the Nursing Process to assess and triage patients effectively over the phone
• Communicate calmly and clearly to provide appropriate medical advice and interventions
• Document all patient interactions and maintain statistical data as required

Required qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting
• Experience in emergency room or home health preferred
• Basic typing skills at 40 wpm or greater and intermediate computer proficiency
• Ability to work every other weekend and 4-5 recognized holidays per year
