Job Summary

Reviewing and evaluating insurance applications for new and renewal business, the full-time Illinois Licensed Underwriter will generate quotes based on risk assessment and communicate with sales representatives, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process and underwrite new and renewal business by reviewing applications and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Communicate with sales representatives to gather additional information needed for the underwriting process
• Analyze risk factors to determine acceptance, modification of terms, or rejection of insurance applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Administration or a related field preferred
• Previous underwriting experience within business insurance lines utilizing a CRM system
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels
• Property & Casualty insurance license desired
