Illinois Licensed Vice President of Finance
Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and hands-on Illinois Licensed Vice President of Finance, this full-time position will lead financial operations, oversee accounting and compliance, and partner with executive leadership to drive growth and scalability in a Chicago-based organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all finance operations, including accounting, AR/AP, treasury, and liquidity management
- Partner with executive leadership to lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of transparency and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong treasury management expertise, including cash flow planning and compliance
- Experience managing commission and bonus calculations for a commission-based sales team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- Deep experience implementing and optimizing financial systems within a growing technology stack
