Illinois Licensed Virtual Psychiatrist
Job Summary
To support the Saint Francis Medical Center Behavioral Health Partial Hospitalization Program & Intensive Outpatient Program, the part-time Illinois Licensed Virtual Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing care to patients, working remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee psychiatric and psychological assessments for patients in the PHP/IOP
- Provide ongoing weekly care and support throughout patients' participation in the program
- Collaborate with on-site Behavioral Health Therapists and nurses in a team-based environment
Required qualifications
- Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Meets all qualifications for professional malpractice and liability coverage participation
