Illinois RN Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mgr-RN, Clinical Documentation Improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and resources of the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) team, including strategic goal development and performance reporting
• Facilitate improvements in clinical documentation through chart reviews and educational training sessions
• Conduct audits on CDI reviews and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance documentation accuracy and coding practices

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing
• Two years of acute hospital experience or surgical area as a clinical nurse
• Three years of experience as a clinical documentation specialist
• Two years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience
• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state of work location
