Illinois RN Clinical Documentation Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mgr-RN, Clinical Documentation Improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and resources of the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) team, including strategic goal development and performance reporting
• Facilitate improvements in clinical documentation through training and chart reviews, and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide ongoing education for staff regarding clinical documentation processes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent for licensing
• Two years of acute hospital experience or surgical area as a clinical nurse
• Three years of experience as a clinical documentation specialist
• Two years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience
• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state of work location
