Job Summary

A company is looking for a School Social Worker for the 2023/2024 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual counseling sessions and group interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized plans to support student needs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social and emotional needs

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution
• Active state certification as a School Social Worker in Illinois
• PEL Certification
• Two years of previous experience working as a School Social Worker in the school setting
• Proficient in using technology for remote communication, such as video conferencing and online collaboration tools
