Illinois State Licensed Special Education Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Illinois State Licensed Special Education Teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual instruction to students with disabilities in grades 6-12 based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other professionals to develop effective strategies for meeting students' individual needs
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress and adjust instruction as necessary

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Illinois Special Education teaching certification, LBS1 and PEL
• Valid teaching certificate in residential state, if applicable
• At least 2 years of experience teaching students with disabilities
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology
