Image Analysis Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Image Analysis Scientist to support the R&D team with image analysis and software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve software pipelines and workflows for medical image algorithm development
• Train and evaluate machine learning models while optimizing code for performance
• Conduct quantitative analysis of datasets to evaluate algorithm performance and identify improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Proficient in Python and/or MATLAB
• Exposure to scientific computing and machine learning libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and image processing libraries such as OpenCV
• Strong analytical skills and ability to document work clearly
