Imaging Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Imaging Operations Specialist who will support imaging operations for on-orbit satellites.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling and tasking of on-orbit satellites to ensure timely and accurate imaging
• Develop scripts to interface with satellite operations software and validate new scripts in the software integration lab
• Prepare and present periodic reports on tasking status and collaborate with the engineering design team on next-gen payloads

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in tasking for remote sensing platforms or similar applications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with experience potentially substituting for the degree
• Experience working with space-based imaging assets is preferred
• Proficiency in scripting using Python or similar platforms to interface with APIs
• Demonstrated experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and with geographically diverse individuals
