Imaging Scheduler

Job Summary

To support advanced cardiac imaging scheduling, the full-time Imaging Scheduler will accurately collect and analyze patient data, schedule procedures, and maintain compliance with regulations while working onsite Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately collects and analyzes demographic, insurance, and clinical data for scheduling patients
• Schedules appointments in the computerized system and ensures patients receive proper preparation instructions
• Participates in departmental training and assists with administrative tasks as needed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
• 2-4 years of secretarial experience or 1-2 years with an Associates degree
• Familiarity with medical scheduling systems and payor mechanisms
• Experience with shorthand or Dictaphone preferred
• Ability to create spreadsheets and utilize various software packages
