Imaging Workflow Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the part-time Imaging Workflow Specialist will manage patient care workflows and reading processes by effectively distributing work, adhering to operational guidelines, and communicating with radiologists and medical staff to ensure quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute imaging cases according to workflow guidelines and maintain effective communication with radiologists
• Monitor and manage the image archival and workflow management system to ensure timely patient care
• Collaborate with team members through remote communication tools to support operational needs and assist with staffing shortages

Required qualifications

• Junior college/Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a medical setting
• Two years of administrative medical office experience; radiology experience preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in technical radiology
• Ability to learn and utilize PACS and other workflow management systems
• Professional demeanor with strong organizational and multitasking skills
