Job Summary
To support immigration operations, the full-time Immigration Counsel will act as an in-house legal advisor, managing visa caseloads, drafting immigration documents, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and draft applications for employment-based immigration cases, including various visa matters
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners, advising on immigration sponsorship assessments
- Maintain knowledge of immigration laws and respond to requests from USCIS and DOL
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree and current bar membership in good standing
- Minimum of 6 years of immigration law experience, preferably in-house
- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and regulations
- Significant experience counseling stakeholders on immigration law matters
- Strong project management skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
