Immigration Supervising Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary/Remote Immigration Supervising Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent noncitizens on complex immigration matters and collaborate on defense strategies
• Supervise and provide feedback to attorney supervisees, including in-court supervision and performance evaluations
• Participate in practice leadership meetings and lead training for interns and staff

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree and at least three years of immigration law experience, preferably in a criminal-immigration practice
• License to practice law in the United States
• Commitment to defending individuals with limited financial resources in removal proceedings
• Experience working with immigrant and/or low-income communities
• Supervisory and mentoring skills, with a passion for teaching immigration legal issues
