Job Summary

To share personal experiences and insights, a fully remote Immune Thrombocytopenia Columnist will write weekly columns for Bleeding Disorders News, focusing on life with ITP and engaging with patients, caregivers, and the broader community in a contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Submit 400-800 word drafts weekly that adhere to company policies and deadlines
• Communicate effectively with managers and editors, incorporating feedback and revisions promptly
• Complete assigned training and maintain a strong understanding of ITP fundamentals

Required qualifications

• Must be a member of the ITP community, with a preference for patients over caregivers
• At least three months of direct experience caring for someone with ITP
• Prior experience writing for an audience
• Ability to produce content independently and manage time effectively
• Native or fluent English writing and reading abilities
