Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end technical deployment and integration of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and related imaging solutions, the remote Implementation Engineer will manage client projects, coordinate tasks, and provide second-level technical support while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary implementation resource for assigned client projects from kick-off through completion
- Deploy, integrate, and validate PACS and related imaging solutions, ensuring reliable DICOM workflows
- Provide second-level technical support for healthcare IT systems, troubleshooting escalated issues during and after implementation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in an IT technical implementation or support role, preferably in healthcare
- Hands-on experience with PC and server platforms, including command-line administration on Linux and Windows
- Proficiency with Windows client and server operating systems and Linux system administration
- Experience with PACS, DICOM, and/or HL7, along with strong customer relationship skills
