Import Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Import Specialist to join their Global Trade Compliance team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine and document classification designations for parts and equipment
• Monitor shipments and oversee customs clearance for compliance and timely delivery
• Provide expert guidance on U.S. and international trade regulations to internal personnel

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in import trade compliance
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR)
• Experience with Post Summary Corrections (PSCs) and Customs Forms 28 and 29
• Strong background in HTS and Schedule B product classification
• Proficiency in OCR/SAP systems and knowledge of trade-related workflow processes
