Import Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating release and entry processing for air and/or ocean shipments, the full-time Import Specialist will ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments while working remotely during M-F day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments and create customs entries based on client records and documentation
• Verify documentation for compliance and coordinate entry summaries as needed, while maintaining effective relationships with clients and partners
• Utilize system automation tools to support release processing and adhere to established policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in customs processing or a similar field
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Familiarity with Customs laws, regulations, and industry practices
• Proficiency in Word and Excel software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
