Import Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Import Specialist will process and assimilate customer data to support the movement of goods across international borders, preparing essential customs documentation and managing turnover documents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares important customs documents, including bonds and bills, and manages turnover documentation for brokers
• Produces documentation to secure the release of import consolidations from carriers and handles internal transfers
• Cross-trains in additional responsibilities and performs other duties as assigned by management

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Recent customs brokerage experience
• Previous experience keying entries
