Import Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting a 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time schedule, the full-time Import Specialist will manage customer data processing and assist with the movement of goods across international borders while serving as a liaison between the company and customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Process Customs and PGA entries for the clearance of goods into the United States
• Resolve customer issues related to billing and shipment tracking while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Government regulatory agencies and coordinate shipping details with various stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Willingness to work weekends
• Experience with client submission requirements and clearance of specific commodities
• Ability to handle confidential information and make process improvement recommendations
• Familiarity with customs brokerage processes is preferred
