IMS Core Engineer

Job Summary

Managing the IMS mobile platform, the full-time IMS Core Engineer will analyze, implement, and verify configurations and integrations for mobile networks, including 2.5G, 3G, and 4G, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage networks and nodes within the IMS domain for various mobile network technologies
• Utilize and develop dashboards to identify issues and patterns effectively
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response for IMS infrastructure

Required qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in the core network domain with mobile networks
• BSc degree in Telecommunication or Computer Science, with post-graduate studies as a bonus
• Working knowledge of telecom networks including 2G, 2.5G, 3G, and LTE
• Strong understanding of IMS evolution, subsystems, functionalities, and call flows
• Experience with SS7, SIP, Diameter signaling, and configuration changes for IMS services
