IMS Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the IMS Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security discrepancies and drive remediation while utilizing hands-on experience with CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Security, R&D, and various Network Element product teams to address security issues
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
• Implement security hardening and best-practice configuration guidelines based on CIS Benchmarks

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Strong knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Macros
• Basic understanding of Core Network elements, IP networking, and IP addressing
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks and security best practices
