IMS Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the IMS Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security discrepancies, manage CentOS and RHEL environments, and utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions for data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Security, R&D, and Network Element product teams to identify and remediate security discrepancies
• Manage and maintain CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions for data analysis and reporting

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Strong working knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, TRIM, UNIQUE, and Macros
• Basic understanding of Core Network elements, IP networking, and IP addressing
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks and security hardening/best-practice configuration guidelines
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
