IMS Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IMS Systems Programmer (W2 Role).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IMS applications using COBOL and/or PL/1
• Perform IMS database design and management using BMC IMS tools
• Conduct z/OS dump analysis and provide support for networking protocols

Required Qualifications

• Experience with IBM MVS z/OS Mainframe operating systems
• Proficiency in IMS/TM, IMS/DB, and related tools
• Knowledge of programming languages including z/OS MVS Assembler, PL/1, and COBOL
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and FTP
• Experience with SMPE and IPCS
