In-House Counsel

Job Summary

To support its growing legal needs, the full-time In-House Counsel will manage commercial contracting, lead client-side negotiations, and provide operational legal guidance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of various commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts and NDAs
• Lead client-side legal negotiations, ensuring quick turnaround and maintaining momentum through execution
• Provide operational legal guidance and maintain website legal content, including Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of post-J.D. transactional legal experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
• Strong experience negotiating B2B SaaS and digital services agreements with a high volume of contracts
• Working knowledge of U.S. privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR
• Demonstrated ability to communicate legal issues clearly to executives and provide actionable business guidance
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
