In Vitro Pharmacologist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time In Vitro Pharmacologist with extensive experience in molecular biology, cell biology, and pharmacology, responsible for evaluating scientific opportunities, advising on assay readiness, and collaborating with biotechs to advance molecule innovation, with the option to work remotely or from various US locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Critically evaluate biotech partner assays for hit selection and lead optimization, providing actionable recommendations to meet standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust experimental workflows and make go/no-go decisions at key milestones
• Lead due diligence efforts for early-stage partners and manage CRO relationships to ensure scientific rigor and timely delivery

Required Qualifications

• PhD, MS, or BS in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field
• 10+ years of drug discovery experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting
• 7+ years of hands-on in vitro pharmacology experience, including cell-based assay development
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple therapeutic modalities and areas
• Proven track record of evaluating assay quality and fitness-for-purpose in a drug discovery context
