Inbound Freight Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end delivery appointment scheduling process, the full-time Inbound Freight Specialist will coordinate between carriers, freight brokers, and warehouse operations teams to ensure timely inventory arrivals while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the DataDocks scheduling portal, approving and canceling appointments across multiple warehouse locations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and brokers, responding to inquiries and guiding new users through the scheduling process
• Generate and distribute reports on appointment metrics and inbound capacity, flagging any potential issues to the Transportation team

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight coordination, dock scheduling, transportation logistics, or a related supply chain role
• Proficiency with scheduling or transportation management platforms; experience with DataDocks is strongly preferred
• Strong written communication skills for professional correspondence with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management and reporting tasks
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in shipment data
