Job Summary
Managing the end-to-end delivery appointment scheduling process, the full-time Inbound Freight Specialist will coordinate between carriers, freight brokers, and warehouse operations teams to ensure timely inventory arrivals while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the DataDocks scheduling portal, approving and canceling appointments across multiple warehouse locations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and brokers, responding to inquiries and guiding new users through the scheduling process
- Generate and distribute reports on appointment metrics and inbound capacity, flagging any potential issues to the Transportation team
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in freight coordination, dock scheduling, transportation logistics, or a related supply chain role
- Proficiency with scheduling or transportation management platforms; experience with DataDocks is strongly preferred
- Strong written communication skills for professional correspondence with stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management and reporting tasks
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in shipment data
