Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Inbound Retention Specialist will provide exceptional customer support to small business advertisers, focusing on retention and consulting while managing an inbound phone queue during a Saturday-Wednesday schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen Yelp's revenue retention by delivering timely customer support and consulting to current advertisers
- Educate clients on the value of Yelp's advertising solutions and performance metrics
- Handle escalated client issues using strong listening and conflict resolution skills
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
- Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
- Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business (preferred)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage tough conversations professionally and solutions-oriented
