Job Summary

Supporting small business advertisers, the full-time Inbound Retention Specialist will provide exceptional customer support, consult on advertising solutions, and retain clients while working remotely from the Western region of the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen Yelp's revenue retention by delivering timely customer support and consulting to current advertisers
• Manage an inbound phone queue, educating clients on ad performance metrics and the value of their investment
• Handle escalated client issues using strong listening and conflict resolution skills while achieving monthly performance goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
• Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
• Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally and solutions-oriented
