Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Inbound Retention Specialist will provide exceptional customer support to small business advertisers, focusing on retention and consulting while managing an inbound phone queue on a Saturday-Wednesday schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen Yelp's revenue retention by delivering timely customer support to advertisers
- Consult and educate current Yelp advertisers on their ad performance metrics and investment returns
- Handle escalated client issues using strong listening and conflict resolution skills
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
- Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
- Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business (preferred)
- Ability to handle tough conversations with business owners professionally
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
