Job Summary
Working remotely as part of the Eastern Region Weekend Team, the full-time Inbound Sales Retention Specialist will provide exceptional customer support to small business advertisers, focusing on retention and consulting while managing inbound inquiries primarily on weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen Yelp's revenue retention by delivering timely customer support and consulting to current advertisers
- Manage an inbound phone queue, educating clients on ad performance metrics and the value of Yelp's services
- Handle escalated client issues using strong listening and conflict resolution skills while consistently achieving monthly goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
- Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
- Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle tough conversations professionally and adapt product recommendations to client needs
