Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Inbound Sales Retention Specialist will support and retain small business advertisers by providing exceptional customer service, consulting on ad performance, and managing inbound inquiries during a Saturday-Wednesday schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen revenue retention by delivering timely customer support and consulting to current Yelp advertisers
- Manage an inbound phone queue, educating clients on the value of Yelp's advertising solutions and performance metrics
- Handle escalated client issues using strong conflict resolution skills while consistently achieving monthly performance goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
- Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
- Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business is preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle tough conversations professionally and adapt product recommendations to meet client needs
