Job Summary
Dedicated to supporting small business advertisers, the full-time Inbound Sales Retention Specialist will operate remotely from the Eastern region of the U.S., providing exceptional customer support, consulting on advertising solutions, and retaining clients post-sale.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen Yelp's revenue retention by delivering timely customer support and consultations to current advertisers
- Manage inbound calls, educating clients on ad performance metrics and demonstrating the value of their investments
- Handle escalated client issues using strong listening and conflict resolution skills while consistently achieving monthly goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
- Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
- Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business (preferred)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A passion for local businesses and understanding of their role in local economies
