Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Incident Response Analyst I to investigate security incidents and enhance security measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security
• Assists with the execution of the enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan and collaborates with various teams
• Participates in the design of automated responses for detected attacks and ensures compliance with security standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent experience
• 0 - 2 years of related experience in information security
• Knowledge of tools and techniques used by threat actors
• Experience with endpoint protection and enterprise detection software
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SC200, or AWS CCP preferred but not required
