Job Summary

A company is looking for an Incident Response Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security's Security Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate investigation and response efforts throughout the Incident Response lifecycle
  • Acquire and analyze endpoint and network artifacts to determine the scope of cyber incidents
  • Develop and maintain Incident Response processes, procedures, workflows, and playbooks
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field
  • 8-12 years of related experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or computer forensics
  • In-depth knowledge of the Incident Response lifecycle and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash
  • Ability to pass a 5-year Background Investigation for Department of Homeland Security SOC employees
