Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

Working overnight as a full-time Incident Response Analyst, the candidate will investigate and respond to security events, perform security event triage and analysis, and conduct network forensics with minimal oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security event triage and analysis to identify suspicious and malicious activity
• Conduct postmortem and follow-up analyses throughout the incident life cycle
• Develop scripts and tools to enhance incident detection and response processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of relevant work experience
• In-depth understanding of information security topics, including SIEM/SOAR utilization and incident response methodologies
• Knowledge of common adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and cyber-attack stages
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure designs, networking protocols, and security technologies
• Possession of one or more relevant security certifications or degrees
