Incident Response Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting clients during cybersecurity incidents, the full-time remote Incident Response Consultant will manage the incident response lifecycle, perform forensic analysis, and enhance detection capabilities while providing off-hours support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support the incident response lifecycle from triage to investigation, containment, and eradication
• Perform forensic analysis and analyze malware while implementing incident response procedures
• Identify attack vectors and provide written and verbal reports to clients

Required qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in forensic and incident response roles
• Experience with host- and network-based digital forensic investigations
• Knowledge of common attack methods and threat actor tactics
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience investigating ransomware incidents and Business Email Compromise (BEC) cases
